A trip to LA - some fun - some business (a visit to the Breville USA and Scanpan distribution facility and showroom) but the highlight was North End Cafe in Manhattan Beach. This all started after watching Guy Fieri, you know - the Food Network host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, feature the restaurant. Kahlua Pig Monte Cristo Egg Rolls and on the other end of the spectrum the daily special - hand cranked linguine carbonara. I've never had anything like these rolls and the sauce was well - my mouth is watering just thinking about it. North End is family owned and operated and you can just tell they love what they do.
